Hey I like your taste! (I'm not a Fiona fan, but love the other three ) My top two besides Tori are Tool and PJ Harvey. And then Pink Floyd is forever awesome by default because I've always been hearing their music, one of my earliest memories involves being afraid of "Is There Anybody Out There?" lol. David Bowie is another huge favourite. #41#

Thanks. I like Tool as well, just not at my top five. They have some awesome videos. I see you're a Tom Petty fan. I like you already. He was would go in my number five spot, but I only listed 4. That is so funny you mentioned that line from Pink Floyd. I was on another site late the other night. It's how I ask if anyone's around. Does it still scare you? I won't use here if it does So who is PJ Harvey? I've seen him mentioned a lot on the board. Who would you compare him to? I'm ready for something new.

PJ Harvey's a female guitar-oriented angry rock chick. If you like stuff like Professional Widow, Precious Things, etc. - the angry side of Tori - you might like her. She's tough to get into, her style is very different, pretty raw - so ease in slowly with her most accesible album, "Stories From The City, Stories From The Sea" (although also her least angry, ha). If you like that, let us know and we'll guide you further She's really wonderful though, without comparison. I can't imagine you not liking her, most everyone I know does

Thanks, I will check her out. I love the guitar, it's my favorite instrument. So it should be interesting.

There are so many bands and singers I like a lot and when I'm asked to name my favourites, it's a list which probably kills people's eyes... But to name some I listen to most, besides Tori:
-Nightwish -Within Temptation -Xandria -Kate Bush -Malice Mizer -Gackt -Iceman -Sonata Arctica -The 69 Eyes -Evanescence -30 Seconds To Mars -Daisuke Asakura -Madonna -Marilyn Manson -Sheryl Crow
...and more metal bands like Epica and Battlelore, rock singers like Alanis Morissette, random pop like t.A.t.U. and more Japanese music like Gazette and Access.

Hmm!
-Kate Bush -Belle and Sebastian -Weezer -The Smashing Pumpkins -They Might Be Giants -all kinds of funky motown tunes for dancing. -Wir Sind Helden -Tocotronic -erm I know there's more, but I realize now that I actually listen to very little music at home these days. :/
Mana, I've never heard of 30 Seconds to Mars before until YESTERDAY when I saw a car completely covered with that band's stickers. I seriously thought it was a science fiction club or something, hahah. And now I see it mentioned the second time!

Oh, cool, 30STM street team attacks. ;D Some fans advertise the band that way, attaching stickers and posters or leaving them somewhere on public place or drawing pics on asphalt with chalk etc. It's a great band, one of the few actors' music stuff that is truly good. It's Jared Leto's band. But he's probably more rocker than actor in his heart.
