Ahhhh, you beat me to it! ;D (just checked the dent before coming here but Carly distracted me with some PMs, lol) Yes, I personally called up Tori and said "hey, you know, I don't ask for much, but I'd really like something bee-related in the title of your next album... Can you swing that?" And she said "Sure, Mayr. Done deal." She's such a honey.

PS- Whooohoooo! It's only 4 freakin' months away!!!!!!!!!!!! I see people flocking here to toriforum in their Tori-frenzy to discuss the new album... "If you build it, they will come!" PPS- Trev, weird that you'd mention SW obsession today because I've been into SW so much lately (Ali, too.. it's on her fall-asleep playlist in her cd player this week, along with Maroon 5!) and just today I was listening to SW AND the Hidden Treasures cd, thinking (while cooking dinner) I can't WAIT to see what Tori's next release will be like, which made me go re-read your Amazon review this afternoon, which made me think about checking The Dent after dinner just a few minutes ago, which (of course) made me want to come here and post the news I saw. EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED TO EVERYTHING, I TELL YOU!!! ;D

AAAAHHHH! I started lunch about twenty minutes too early to see this at The Dent myself! Weird. She was a librarian, now she's a bee keeper. What's next, I wonder. Horticulturist? Ballerina (we know she likes it)? Used Car Saleswoman? Biochemist? Administrative Lawyer?

Um, why release them twice? Very unlikely. They were songs from the Scarlet's Walk sessions. Unless "Mountain" somehow gets on there...

the title is not extraordinary. I'd be curious to know how many tracks there will be. How many active Tori Amos forums are there around? She might well come and read what we write! After all, we're talking about her! I bet she has come at least once on this board...

See, here's proof I'm not the only mad person who thinks like this. I found this at MollyKnight.com
(LOL) ----------------------------------------
It looks like Tori Amos' next record, The Beekeeper, is slated for a February 22, 2005 release. Should Epic have the audacity to send the record to FHM a few months early in hopes that we'll feature Amos wearing nothing but a stinger, I'll be sure to post my thoughts right here.
In the meantime I would like to point out Amos' sudden, fascinating fixation on very un-glamorous vocations. Following up last year's greatest hits record, Tales of a Librarian, with Beekeeper seems to suggest Amos is going through some kind of mid-life occupational crisis.
Let it be known that I love the crap out of bees. This new development bodes well for the album's potential to be killer. (yuk yuk) But it does not bode well for the costuming she'll undoubtedly choose to complement the album's theme. (Think nettting, think stripes, think honeycomb backdrop).
Look for Amos to follow up Beekeeper in 2007 with From My Accountant's Office, where she will finally reveal that she (wisely) keeps a home in Ireland solely to avoid paying loads of money to the U.S. government in taxes.
