»Quick hammond trivia: Apparently the band, 'The Wallflowers' used a B3 in a couple of their songs including 'One Headlight'. I knew this, I knew this!!! Do I win a prize?! LOL I The Wallflowers. Hels, you ROCK for posting all that. Thanks for the technical stuff and all the links. There was a thread I read a week or so ago on the @forums Tori board that had some other song samples of the B3 Hammond organ, too. Interesting. -Mayr

The B3 is an electromechanical rather than electronic instrument, with closer technological ties to an electric guitar than an electronic synthesizer. The instrument is housed in a huge wooden case supported on four spindle legs, and a separate power amplifier and speaker system is required this is interesting...

Everytime a Wallflowers song comes on the radio I get excited and think, 'Now I really must get that album...' and it's taken me so damn long that they've already released a second album! They might even have three! I keep forgetting about @forums, but I'll check out the samples from there too -thanks birdy EDIT: Your prize will be in the mail on Monday!

They might even have three! Actually, they have FOUR albums! Their first one was on a different label and wasn't much to talk about, but there's a sweet little song on it I like called "Honeybee". They are going to release their FIFTH album in early 2005! Whooohooo!

Mum and I put up our Christmas Tree last night, too I made a mix of Summery, spirity songs on my ipod to listen to while we decorated. I had some Dave Matthews (Everyday), some Alex Lloyd, Finn Brothers, Coldplay.... it was great. Mum has her own perpetual tree, which makes it really personal, and plus it has its own little ecosystem in there too! There was a praying mantis right on top of it last night!! Think I might take a photo. Stop hijacking the thread, redcloud!!!
