 WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!I pre-ordered the LE Beekeeper from Sony and it arrived TODAY!!!!!! 4 days earlier than I ever imagined I'd be listening to it!!!!!!!! I'm listening to Parasol right now......!!!!!!!!!!! OMGOMGOMGOMG, I love it!!!!!!!!!!!! The album is beaaaaautiful... the artwork, the SEED PACKET!, the gorgeous Miss Tori herself, it's all amazing! I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!And WHY THE HELL AM I CRYING?! lol! OMGOMGOMG, Sweet The Sting now. Ooooooooh. Ohhhhh. ooooooo. I likey. This is the best Friday night ever! Sean BUZZ ON HOME NOW! That is sooo freakin awesome. I'm glad you finally are listening to it. I was surprised when I pre-ordered WTSF from them and it arrived a few days early. Mine has been shipped but not here yet but I'm getting the LE the day it comes out. Anxiously Waiting.

Garlands comes with a 'video' of sorts. More like a combination slideshow video and screensaver-type movement with the images. It's so freaking amazing. Tori's words that explain how the song came to be (and explains the title, too) are put into text that float over the images here and there as the song plays. It's almost too much to take in all at once. Which is why I'm listening to it and watching it for the 3rd time now. Don't mind me. I'll just keep going on and on in my amazement and you can ignore me here on my own little thread if you want to. In Winter..... |

Sorry, I don't have a scanner. But from what I can tell, it's the same as the regular cd jewel case. It's just that the LE is the paper-based booklet. It's not a digi-tri-fold like Venus, just a book-like thing, with 2 paper-sleeves inside that are affixed to the right part of the bookcover; one that holds the cd, and one that holds the dvd. They swing like pages of a book, themselves. The lyrics are printed out in a booklet which is stapled to the spine and falls to the left of the paper book. The seed packet was just wedged inside between the lyrics booklet and the sleeves. It's loose; there's nowhere that it attaches or anything. Maybe later tonight I'll take some pics of it.  |

Can I just say that I'm in love with Garlands?!
WHY THE HECK WAS THIS NOT PUT ON THE ALBUM?!
Grrr. I appreciate bonus songs. I really do. But I always get frustrated when I fall in love with a bonus song that I wish could be part of the regular tracklist of songs. I have to figure out how to get this into an audio-format and add it to my iTunes. When any of you who are getting the LE can help me out in that regard, please do!

LOL, yeah, I just PMed you back. ;D I feel like the Karma bus (to borrow a term from my blogger-buddy, Marla) has pulled up to my house and turned on the heat in the cold and honked its horn for me to come on board for a nice little trip. I so needed this right now, getting this album early. ;D And I'll say once more now: THE DVD IS SO FUN/GREAT/INTERESTING!!! |

Someone was knocking at my door this morning and I was getting ready for work so I didn't answer. (I also figured that it was way to early for the cd to arrive) When I left for work I found the notice that I had missed a delivery and would need to pick it up at the post office. Dammit, I can't believe I missed it!! On the plus side, that means that I'll have it tomorrow! It's going to drive me nuts having to wait at work knowing that I have the cd at home! (I did, however, get my "Angry Snatch" undies this morning because the package fit easily in my mailbox!  ) |

I mean, here I've been, all good-girlish and not listened to a darn thing. I couldnt' even remember the melody to Sleeps With Butterflies because I'd only listened to it once or twice, and so long ago.... and I was perfectly fine with waiting til Tuesday to get the cd, BUT IT CAME EARLY FOR ME!!! ;D I'm HELLAHAPPY!!!! |

I remember those apartment days and having to go pick up the parcels that couldn't be delivered. The good thing about living in a house (at least here) is that they just leave it on the porch! LOL I picked up Connor from school in the pouring rain, and as we walked up the front steps to the house I SHRIEKED with delight upon seeing the package. Poor kid almost fell over!! I was SO HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY!! |
