I just read on the dent somewhere that they were shooting live material for the video of sweet the sting at one of the concerts. I can't seem to find this information now but i think it is correct.

I'm really glad this is the next single release. Sleeps with Butterflies didn't make me too proud Tori fan to be perfectly honest.

I like it! I think it captures the sultry side of the song - Tori definitely does a bit of pouting. And it's more relaxed and laid back, the complete opposite to the overly glossy video for Sleeps with Butterflies.

It's nice to see that Tori is doing more than one single per album again. xo On the plus side: TWO real videos from the one album. On the minus side: Two singles that you can't actually buy and that don't have any b-sides. At least A Sorta Fairytale had one b-side. Depending on how you count, Scarlet's Walk actually had as many as four singles - ASF, Taxi Ride, Strange and Don't Make Me Come To Vegas. Someone, somewhere has decided 'real' singles don't sell. Of course, someone, somewhere is a complete idiot who doesn't understand that most of their singles weren't selling because they were about as interesting as a Walmart catalogue, but this is the world we live in. The powers that be have put the official word out that downloading is killing their industry and reducing sales. It's probably a lie - there was a study here that showed CHOICE had dropped by 50%, which was why sales had dropped - but it's a lie the record companies like perpetuating. So don't expect them to give us too many things we'd actually want to buy. |

I saw the video last week, just haven't been around here to comment... I thought it wasn't that amazing, but it still made me appreciate the song more, as it brought forward the background vocals. Seeing the choir made it more real.  And watching Tori perform is always a pleasure. |

don't know if it's the same everywhere but singles sell mostly among teens and hardcore fans, and I guess it helps getting bigger profit.
About the vid, well, it's not the best Tori vid, to use a euphemism. It doesn't take a week to shoot that. IMHO, it's just an ordered vid.
