It's gonna be a tie between "Bouncing Off Clouds", "Teenage Hustling", and "Velvet Revolution".

Digital Ghost at the moment but it's bound to change ... until I'm really comfortable with the album (know it inside and out) I won't really have a solid favourite.

Well, this change at a moment's notice, but right now I simply can't get over Teenage Hustling.
And that's so not me. Well, maybe it is in the sense that I quite like music with a fair bit of passion and drama. But seriously, who would have thought that my favourite thing on an album absolutely FULL of great songs would be a hard-thumping, relentless repetition of "You better know I'm at your door"?
Especially when that line actually ends the song.
Several times, I've found myself letting out a quiet swear-word of delight at the end of Teenage Hustling or Body and Soul, so they're really doing it for me. Other highlights:
You Can Bring Your Dog Dark Side of the Sun Bouncing off Clouds Dragon Girl Disappearing
But honestly, there isn't a single dud in the whole 79 minutes.

Hahaha Code Red is winning.
Smokey Joe still = #1 to my ears.
I agree - not a dud in the entire thing.

I'm still very new to it, some of you have an advance listen from hearing the leaks so you can understand them better than me. also add the fact that I'm pretty thick and it takes a while for anything to sink in. I cant decide yet, havent heard it enough.
I really dont like it when she gets political. all in all it seems good though.

Now, can someone vote for You Can Bring Your Dog and make *me* happy?
My God, given how sexy she managed to make the live version of Sweet the Sting, I'm afraid what might happen when she does 'Dog' live. Underwear could be thrown on stage.

Ah Pepe, dear Pepe. You need to learn to deal with emotional ambiguity and complexity. Because that's what Dragon has. It isn't either happy or sad, it swings between emotions from one line to another. One moment it's warm and soft, the next it's downright spooky. It's almost like an adult fairytale. And it totally captivates me every time I listen to it.

i do, Trevor, yea. it's the new Gold Dust, as i keep saying. i dislike those two songs more than anything Tori's ever recorded, and i'm including Merman in this. well, i haven't heard Dragon more than 3 times, so i don't really dislike it as much as i ignore it, but Gold Dust's a huge pet peeve of mine.

Maybe one day you'll randomly out of the blue like Dragon. It's happened to me with other songs of hers. Sometimes it's just not your time I love this song, to me it's gorgeous. Ahhh (although, um.. I can't stand listening to it on earphones because that intro makes my brain go "EEEE!!GLKGSJA!!??!?!?!!!" .. but that's ok, I just won't listen to it like that and it's all good.. tehee)

Carly's Duds: Mr. Bad Man, Programmable Soda Note to self: Carly needs to be encouraged to get in touch with her whimsical side. 2nd note to self: Skipping. Need to take Carly skipping. Preferably through the centre of town.
