2596. I created the first SERIOUS Alcoholics Anonymous group on facebook yesterday. The other ones were like "Alcoholics Un-anonymous," "AA is for quitters," and "AA is religious propaganda." I hope people get some use out of it. That is excellent, Carly!

2597. Michelle Pfeiffer. Holy god was she good in #2598. Seriously, she deserves a damn Oscar. #41# 2598. Stardust. I did not think a director would ever be able to capture Neil Gaiman's sense of humour onscreen. Turned out to be one of those things you're not really upset over when you're wrong #79# Yay! I am so glad to hear this. I have heard good things, but nothing in comparison with his writing yet. There have been ads posted all over the city for weeks, so I have been getting pretty excited. I am such a Neil Gaiman fanatic that it's ridiculous. ;D I would have seen it already (it opened in theaters last week), but I'm waiting to see it with my sister, who has also read the book. In the meantime, I am re-reading the book again. I hope to finally see it on Sunday. I've been going crazy seeing the ads and not being able to watch it yet! A friend of mine, who has never read any of Neil's stuff, saw it last week and said that it was probably the best movie he has seen this summer. I was really happy to hear such a great review.

2599. The music we play at work in the restaurant comes from an MP3 player. Everyone has been complaining that it needed sprucing up, so I took it home with me tonight. I was in a bad mood and it's made me feel so much better. There is seriously nothing that brightens my day more than sharing music with others. 2600. I met another Patty fan this week- a co-worker of mine! Last night she plugged in her ipod for us to listen to, since we were all sick of the music on ours, and Let Him Fly came on. I immediantly froze and thought "That's Let Him Fly!" Then I thought: "OMG, and it's Patty instead of Jessica Simpson!" Then I found the girl and hugged her. Because some artists are just worth hugging over.

Eh, there seem to be AA sites that I just didn't see when I was creating mine. However, they all seem to be people who know they need to quit, but apparently don't want to quit. I'm the only member of the one I created so far, so I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for people to join.

I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only person not on facebook yet. I'm on all the other ones - myspace, bebo... LOL even my mum's on facebook now! Her friend called her up one day and was like "get on facebook I tried to add you as a friend" - and then they spent like 2 hours on the phone playing around on facebook ... hahaha. (I had to help her register and set up her profile though.. *roll eyes*)

2606. Seeing my brother for the first time in almost 3 months, and the look on his face when he saw me. 2607. Being the only on in my family who was able to pick him out of a crowd of 170 soldiers dressed and looking exactly like him. 2608. The man who shook his hand and thanked him for his decision to join the military while we were out at dinner. 2609. The feeling of pride about my family I got when my grandpa and uncle (who both served in Vietnam) were asked, along with all the veterans in attendence, to stand and be recognized for their service to the country at my brother's basic training graduation. 2610.
