2648. My cousin, Nicole, had her twin boys on Thursday. I went to visit her yesterday, and I was so glad I did, even though the maternity ward of a hospital is pretty intense. I actually felt lightheaded and my hands went numb. I'm not good in hospitals as a rule, anyway. But she seems happy and the babies are doing well, so I'm grateful for that.

^ Yeah, I was afraid I would pass out because of the light-headed, numb hands thing. Strangely enough, I have all the symptoms, but I have never passed out from anxiety. I have passed out from dehydration and massive amounts of booze, but never anxiety. She really wanted to give birth at home with a midwife, but with twins there are all these rules and regulations you have to abide by if you want your insurance to cover it. I'm just happy they are here and safe. She went through so much to have them. In-vitro and stuff. I'm thrilled for her.

2649. Perserverance. I'm NOT going to give up on our move. I've filed for unemployment in the event that I don't get a job, but that's not going to be much $, so I've also circled a bunch of ads in the paper for jobs, and I'm applying tomorrow. They're all jobs that will be over in a month or so after the foliage ends, but that's what I want. And I've had it with these little coastal towns. Yeah, it's nice to not have to deal with the traffic of Bar Harbor, but more traffic means more business. Wish me luck in finding another job a.s.a.p!

2651. I got a job. I start tomorrow. I'm completely sick to my stomach. But I'm glad I got one, and did not lose any time in between jobs.
But still. I'll be cleaning rooms. And all that time by myself makes me kind of nervous. I just worry about what sketchy people might be lurking about while I'm working. I guess that's what pepper spray is for, though.
Tell me I am being completely paranoid , please.

Aww Carly that's such a cute photo! Buster is gorgeous too, he looks like my Indy but the face is a different shape.. very similar colour eyes and markings though.
Sabrina, I think it shows you rock that you got a job so quickly - even if it's something you're not entirely keen on. And if anyone skeezy bugs you, whip that pepper spray out!
