oh wow, i've always wanted to go to Maine. it just seems like... i don't know, the most European of US states, if that makes any sense. if i ever had to live in the US i'd go to either Maine, Connecticut or San Francisco. but for the time being i still prefer Europe.  |

2687. I got a new job today! Which is good, because I hate my retail job (no offense, Miranda). I will be working as a host at The Science Museum at the Omnitheater. It's a huge theater where the screen is a dome that fills the entire ceiling. It's pretty effin' sweet.

2687. I got a new job today! Which is good, because I hate my retail job (no offense, Miranda). I will be working as a host at The Science Museum at the Omnitheater. I'm quitting in January so I can use all the vacation days I have left and not have to pay them back. lol |

I REALLY hated retail. Years ago I worked at this expensive clothing store, and the sales ladies there were so rude to people that came in the store that didn't "look" like they had the $ to shop there. Then when the regular customers came in, they were right up their asses. I was the type of sales person where I would ask people if they needed help, but if they said "just looking", I'd let them be. I'm just not a pushy person, and they really wanted me to be.
Yeah, so sales wasn't for me.
Glad you have a new job, Carly. It sounds interesting. ♥

2695. Saying goodbye to bad places. Saying goodbye and letting them go. It's so GREAT to be moving away. I can't wait to start fresh. I'm so excited.  2696. Having nice visits with people I really have enjoyed. It's sad to see them go, but it makes me happy that I have managed to attract better people into my life. I've met some truly great human beings in the last few years. I've learned so much being around some of these people. It's been wonderful. Hopefully I can keep in touch with them. I hope I manage to form some lasting bonds. I try and try. I just hope I make it stick this time. |
