Finally, after 2 years of being engaged, we've set a date! (Well, two dates) It's either June 12th or 26th, 2004!!! YAAAAAAAAAY! ;D I AM BOUNCING OFF THE WALLS EXCITED!! YAY YAY YAY! The planning has begun...I've been online all day long looking at gowns and cakes and flowers....there's so much to do and thankfully almost a year and a half to do it! I think I'm most excited that my Dad's already called the airlines to book our first class seats to Paris and Venice... I've been to both before and adore them! We'll be spending at least 2 weeks in Europe, woo-hoo! OMG! This is freaky...every single show on TV today is about weddings! Oprah, Golden Girls, Friends, and TLC...even "Bridezilla's" last night - it's like it's meant to be! Man oh man oh man.....am I psyched or what?  ? YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

That's so exciting. Don't let all the planning stress you out...just have fun! And 2 weeks in Europe?! You can't get much more romantic than that! Good Luck!

Awwww, that's wonderful!! CONGRATULATIONS lilyella!! Hehe... my boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years and we're still not even engaged! I'm so jealous... hehe So many weddings recently! One of my friends just got married a month ago, then I'm going to a wedding in MAy, I have another friend getting married in june (the 27th), and I'm a bridesmaid in another wedding next August! Yaaaay!! Congratulations again and have fun with the planning!! |

thanks guys! i'm still flipping out, we just spent a few hours taking a first peek at tuxes and gowns and stuff...
raisangirl - i've always been a shakespeare lover! i think we're going to have a fairy tale romance theme, and his work definately fits right in!!!!

raisangirl - i've always been a shakespeare lover! i think we're going to have a fairy tale romance theme, and his work definately fits right in!!!! me too!!! we're actually going to be doing 'a midsummer night's dream' when we renew our vows (we had a teeny tiny wedding, so i guess this could be considered our 'real' wedding), and i found those quotes, and they're great quotes right?!?!?! i can't wait to see pictures!!!! congratulations!!! |

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!  well, this is just great. my sister is planning her wedding july 17 2004, and just flipped out on me, basically saying that i'm ruining her wedding, that i'm an inconsiderate bitch...blah blah blah.... i have ONE summer free to do this. i start teaching (hopefully!) septemeber 2004, and i have 8 months free now to plan before student teaching! she emailed me this really nasty email, and now the whole family is fighting about this, and i just can't stop crying....  this same thing happened with my friends when i first got engaged.... i don't know what to do. i just want to curl up and cry. |
