While in the process of moving all the concert review threads over to this new sub-board I accidently deleted a few. I feel absolutely terrible about it. I now have the power to checkmark a 'batch' of threads and move them at once, if I prefer. It saves time rather than moving them one at a time. I had 4 threads checkmarked and I accidentally hit the 'remove thread' button for them instead of the 'move thread' button to move them.
I AM SO SO SORRY!
I thought we used to get some kind of 'are you sure you want to delete these threads?' prompt before deleting... had I seen that I definitely would have caught the error and UNchecked the threads and prevented the deletion from happening. But there was no such prompt. Just yesterday I was telling the other moderators to be careful of making such aa mistake because I noticed we don't get the prompt anymore. Then I went and made the mistake myself. I feel like such an idiot.
I've gone over to the proboards support forum and asked if there is ANY way I can somehow retrieve the threads and I was told by a moderator NO. Not possible.
I AM SO SO SORRY!
I'm sure 2 of the 4 threads belong to raisangrrl (the NYC review thread) and elizabeth (the Philly thread). I'm not sure about the other 2 (I don't have a way to look up the threads specifically or see what I deleted' my security log only tells me '4 threads deleted'). But I'm suspecting they were reviews for maybe Boston or Detroit? (Lau, I'm sure you had a review thread?)
If any of you who had your threads deleted possibly saved your reviews in a text file or livejournal post or something, please please repost them for us. Please accept my deepest apologies for the error.
I remember a time when Haullie still was the admin and she accidentally deleted an entire board by mistake and she felt so horrible. Although we all told her it was ok, I know that horrible feeling she must have had in the pit of her stomach.
Like I said, So Sorry, guys.
