okay, so tour time is coming around again and we have all had enough time to get familiar with the new album. SO -- if you could pick the IDEAL tori set list for this tour, what would it be? she played around 19-20 songs per show on the last tour but let's be (somewhat) generous (though realistic) and say you get 22 songs. what would they be???
i'm going to try and generate mine, though this could change drastically. i'm trying to think of songs i haven't heard her do live or haven't heard in a long time. or just ones that i think will be fun with a band again. here goes nothing... (in no particular order)
1. tear in your hand 2. talula 3. putting the damage on 4. raspberry swirl 5. siren 6. carbon 7. marys of the sea 8. purple people 9. sugar 10. take me with you 11. not david bowie 12. sleeps with butterflies 13. gold dust 14. pancake 15. digital ghost 16. code red 17. almost rosey 18. beauty of speed 19. bouncing off clouds 20. snow cherries from france 21. goodbye pisces 22. northern lad
wow. that was HARD!!! and i imagine it will change with my mood by day! haha. it'll be interesting when the tour starts and set lists start popping up to see what songs she plays often.
can't wait til those US dates are announced!
okay, so what would your list be??? ;D

I would love to hear lots of Pele and Choirgirl on this tour, and I love that she's putting Siren into her setlists this tour!

i LOVE that she's playing siren too and really hope i get to hear it! (if US dates are ever announced that is). and i also love that she's doing code red every night because out of the entire album that is one that i most definitely want to hear.
however, i'm not so happy with "cornflake girl", "crucify" and "precious things" being back. good songs for sure, but i've heard them entirely too much and want to hear songs that i haven't heard yet. as her library of music expands, so should the variety, i think.
too much beekeeper too. we have JUST been there, Tori! i agree that i am really hoping to hear lots of pele and choirgirl. especially with the band being back (though maybe that's why there's a lot of beekeeper since she didn't have the band for that tour so she is putting a new twist on it??).
third thing i don't like -- that only one "girl" is coming out a night. that makes me sad because i want a mixture. however, i did notice that she played bouncing off clouds on a non-clyde night so that makes me hopeful.
wow. not meaning to be so negative about the tour. i was just disappointed with the last time i saw her and want it to be made up to me in a BIG way! haha... i'm sure i'll love whatever she does...
also -- so far no digital ghost. that would be another i'd want to hear.

^ yeah I dont like too much beekeeper. but then again its just because I didnt like the album, nothing to do with repartition.
dont wanna hear anything off adp yet, the album hasnt set in for me yet.
this will probably change, but for now... bells for her siren jackies strength spark raspberry swirl space dog girl suade lust bliss datura horses blood roses caught a light sneeze in the springtime of his voodoo crucify pancake scarlets walk past the mission take to the sky

Well, I would go for something like.......
Putting The Damage On Flying Dutchman Sister Janet Girl Secret Spell Baker, Baker Concertina Carbon Cooling Taxi Ride Almost Rosey Goodbye Pisces Jackie's Strength Twinkle Bells For Her Mother Strange Toast Cars and Guitars
and there's bound to be at least one cover so I'd say "Landslide" by Stevie Nicks
Some of these choices were easy and will always come to mind first. Some took ages, as lots of others seem just as good!
