No no no, you're supposed to float! Whizz around on cloud nine, like this: WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I wonder how 'duettish' it will be (NB this now officially a word and I intend to use it in conversation). Will it be like Trent on Past the Mission, or a full blown 'you do a bit of verse, then I'll do a bit' kind of thing? Only time will tell! PS No red cordial has passed my lips this morning, despite appearances.

I have no idea what you're on about A proper duet? Or just backing vocals? (now, don't all you hardcore Damien fans flip out or anything, but I hope it's just backing.. I don't really like the idea of having to listen to someone else sing too much on a Tori song... on an actual album, anyway.. b-sides are different)

Will it be like Trent on Past the Mission, or a full blown 'you do a bit of verse, then I'll do a bit' kind of thing? Only time will tell! PS No red cordial has passed my lips this morning, despite appearances. Oh, right, sorry!... WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! Whooo, now we're both all stretchy and floaty! Ok, 3 things: 1. You know me too well. Or I know you too well. Or you know too well that I know you so well because halfway through that post I was thinking, "hmmm, dippin' into the red cordial on Christmas, are we?!" (I kid you not! I said it in my head!) 2. Duettish. I'm all for making it a word! But I think it should only have one 't'. Either way, if you google it just for fun (or because you're putting off wrapping 442 gifts) Google will ask you "Hey, dummy, did you mean fetish?" This made for a nice little midnight laugh here. Yes. I have a fetish for duets. Heh. 3. I don't really care what the degree of duetishness (ha!) is, because I'm sure I'm going to freak out here on my cloud no matter what. Backing or Versing and Chorusing, give me the Damo! oh, the bonus for Carline: Damien Rice is an Irish "folk" or "indie" type singer who sprang from my loins.... Oh, no, no, wait, that was Carly's definition!.... He's a singer/songwriter/guitarist/lovely man (seen him live and he's really funny, too) I'm in love with. I take full credit for "discovering" him last July and then unleasing my Damo obsession and infecting all the impressionable young women here (and men, too, you know you love him, you men!) with the magical Damien Rice ways... Ohhh, yummy yummy. (Not a drop. In at least 4 days. Who's got the time to sip? I barely had time to eat anything...) Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....EEEEEEEE.... (steers her cloud over the mountains, has to turn sharply...'marshmallowwww!'...)...eeeeee!!!! Oh, you can find more about Damien here. From people who probably weren't so giddy and floaty when they described Damien in his bio. But still a good read. Music samples, too, last I checked. His album is called "O", and there are a few singles from it that I think you can listen to there. And here's a great fansite I'm a member at, with tons of mp3s for download: Eskimo Friends. Lisa Hannigan is the singer who does vocals with him on many of the songs. They are amazing together. While I was shopping tonight I looked for orange 'knickers'. LOL! Couldn't find any cute ones, though. *floats herself on outta here...*
