Me too ;D Me too... I love the line "I don't know why in your boys life you become like a bull in a china shop." I don't know if I'm thinking the same thing she was but I do know that I have a very, VERY strong idea of what that line means to me. I just get the feeling this song is about a stupid boy... and I can't dislike a song about stupid boys

I was just telling Mary that this song put the idea into my head that breaking porcelain would be incredibly cathartic.
I'm not thrilled about the lyrics to this song--a bit too trite for my liking. However, I really like the sounds of the song. I like listening to her sing it...I'm just not too invested in what she's singing.
In other news: I think Cars and Guitars has overtaken Sweet the Sting as my least favorite.

Yes, yes, cliche, trite, etc etc.
I wish I found the music as interesting as you do. I still think it turns me off for some reason. With the exception of the pretty ending I mostly think "ick" to this one. (Sowwy.)

Much to Mary's chagrin...
I'm willing to bet that when Tori tours with the band and does something similar to the Roadside Cafe, Goodbye Pisces will be the equivalent of Wednesday. Oh, yes, she will play this song at every show.
I'm indifferent about this speculation but I'm sure she makes really cute faces when she sings the "goodbye to Pisces" parts.

I totally think Hoochie Woman (I keep wanting to call the song Hoochie Mama because that's the term my friends and I use in our mama circles here , lol) is the new Wednesday! Eh, Goodbye Pisces is growing on me a bit now. I do like the breaking porcelain line and the ending, it just has a too-sweet sound that doesn't appeal to me for some reason.

I'm not sure about this girly yet. I'm thinking now that I'm not fond of the drums in this one and maybe would be better without them. The electric guitar, however, adds interesting spice to it and I like it a lot. The piano part reminds me of John Lennon's song about his boy, Sean. Which is kinda cool, cos Marys Of The Sea follows it!

I love "Goodbye Pisces" for it's romance...she said each album needs their romantic song so here's THE BEEKEEPER's. How much more beautiful can you get than "I cried and I washed my tears that turned into diamond Ice into ice and if it could freeze My heart wouldn't float away"? Seriously, it's just gorgeous.
Now, about the 1 romantic song per album...let's see:
Little Earthquakes - China UNDER THE PINK - Cloud on my Tongue BOYS FOR PELE - Putting The Damage On from the choirgirl hotel - Northern Lad to venus and back - Lust Scarlet's Walk - Crazy THE BEEKEEPER - Goodbye Pisces
Here's my interpretation:
I think this song is definitely about the ending of an era when it comes to a relationship. Knowing that even though you may have thought this was gonna be The One, it turned out to be just a stepping stone to The One. You have to kiss a bunch of potential princes, to get to the prince.
