has anyone ever read anything by tennessee williams? i he is one of my favourite writers and his style reminds me of tori sometimes. my favorite plays are "the battle of angels", "streetcar named desire", "cat on a hot tin roof" and "summer and smoke".

I've read "StreetCar Named Desire" several times, and I know I've read more of his stuff but I can't remember what it was.

I read "The Glass Menagerie" in the 10th grade. (Ten years ago!) I remember the basics of what it was about, but honestly don't remember the style of the writing or anything.
We also watched the movie in class after everyone read the book/play. I think John Malkovich was in it...

That was the other one, The Glass Menagerie. Thank you Mandy and bluegirl! I had just drawn a blank on that one.

I've read both Streetcar and The Glass Menegerie too. I liked Streetcar, but the other I found kind of boring. It was just...I don't know how to explain it.. Streetcar was good, though. I love Blanche Though the ending is...disturbing...

Back in high shcool, one of my big English class projects was on T. Williams. I ended up reading Streetcar, Cat on Hot Tin Roof, and some others. But my favorite was Camino Real. Hard to visualize with all the set prop things. Very surrealistic once you visualized it. (Streetcar was a pre-cursor to this with the slide show titles.) Tennesse Rocks!!
