I just saw a special report on TV about how the terror alert has been raised to high because of some threats from terrorists. I am a little freaked out about this because I am flying to Fl. in a few days. I know the chances of them using a plane as a weapon again are probably pretty low, but I still am a little nervous. I'm a white-knuckled flier anyway. Luckily I have a prescription to take valium when I fly. I can imagine that the security at the airport is going to be tightened even more now that the alert has been raised. I flew to Fl. last year and I was one of the ones randomly chosen to be searched. I understand why they do it, but it was pretty embarrassing. It pisses me off that this is what the terrorists have brought us too. I can only imagine how it will be on Tuesday. Anyway, trying not to worry too much about it.

It's safer to fly on a plane now than it was pre-911. Just because nobody ever took advantage of our lax security, doesn't mean the lax security didn't exist. Don't worry, statistics are on your side

They will not use a plane. I can almost guarantee it. They will probably strike a major medical facility. That's my prediction anyhow.

I hope not. I hope they don't hurt anyone. I hope it's just empty threats or that they are stopped before they can carry out their plans. I can't stand the thought of anything else happening, but unfortunately, it's probably inevitable.
