I am addicted to this show! Even episodes I've seen more than once...if I turn it on, I can't pull myself away from it. My favourite designer is Vern. I also like most of Laurie's and Gen's designs too.  Frank's designs are too country for me, but he's a sweetheart. Hilde is whack...and Doug is a jerk. Anyone else love this show?? There are two new episodes on tonite. Woo! ;D |

i got hooked on the british version years ago!! i loved gen's room tonight designed off the poster. the walls looked great!

I only watched the first episode that came on at 7:00...I'm going to catch the replay of the second one at 11:00. Changing Rooms is good too...but they don't show as much, because it's only 30 minutes. |

Oh I absolutely love that show. I do not have cable anymore but I used to watch it religiously. I watched every single show when Alex Mc Leod was hosting it and then like a half a season when Paige became a host.
My favorite decorator would have to be Gen too, she rocks and always has ideas that usually fit what the home owner wants.

It's TLC's most popular show and is in it's 3rd season. Not only that, but they have created another design show called "While You Were Out". Interior decorating is the bomb. |

I like Laurie. She did this beautiful 18th century bedroom makeover that was sooooo kick ass. I forget who it was but someone did a Roman style bathroom that was beautiful too. And of course Ty Pennington is mad hot  |

i'm glad i'm not the only Trading Spaces dork! i LOVE the show, and i've watched it for years!!! it's a ritual in my house to watch it with my best friend on sunday afternoons, while eating Velveeta mac 'n' cheese and recovering from partying saturday night!! i swear, we are sooooo lame, but it's so much fun to "boo" anal-paranoid Hildy and Doug, laugh at Paige and Gen ('cause we love them!!) cringe at Frank's "county kitsch" designs, swoon over Ty and Vern, and make fun of Laurie for going on and on about her "pop" of color..... SEE! I TOLD YOU I WATCH IT TOOOOO MUCH! i just watched it (and While You Were Out) after recovering from last night!! Yummmy....velveeta, water, and Trading Spaces....nothing can cure a hangover like this!! |
