It's dumb! I say if you can't tell a joke everyone will get the ending to than don't tell it. Obviously that joke is for people who HAVE taken Chemistry courses. For those of us who are wiser in other areas besides Chemistry how are we suppose to get the joke? It makes no sense. Now it's like not even funny to me. But it's funy to everyone else because they already knew that area as I did not. But if I came to you and gave you some trivial riddle on the 'My Little Pony' episodes in the 80's you would look at me the same as well if you didn't get what it was I was trying to ask.

I fell for one like that in high school about the people of the ASU nation and their metallic horses. These horses cause so many deaths to people in their misuse and the ASU people build great paths for them, at enviromentaql expenses and great monetary cost
(ASU = USA and cars). It is one of those things that is supposed to make you see people from an outside point of view to see what your reaction is.

haullie,
i only posted it because everyone made so much fun of me when i didn't get it...i got all outraged when i first read it, i was ranting and raving about all these new drugs and all the stupid kids. i went on a tangent about all these hard drugs and how it's too easy to get them, until my friend smacked me and made me shut up so that she could tell me what it was. after i got over being incredibly embarrassed and pissed off, i had to show it to others. i just love to share my humiliation with others ;D
