Jenni, I couldn't possibly imagine anything below -5 degrees celsius!!! You poor thing - do you ever get used to those kinds of temperatures? Hmm, I guess I get used to it in the sense that I know how to prepare for it and live with it--but I still do complain about my face being frozen off while biking and I'm not able to run around naked in the snow! (Except I did roll in the snow after sauna on Christmas eve. So cold!) The good thing is that it's hardly ever really humid here--so -20 degrees and dry is much better than -5 and very humid. I actually feel colder in the latter case. Or wait. Now that I think of it, I think I have gotten used to the cold. Because when we go out, I can say "oh it's kinda cold today" and K. will say "It's been cold for the past 2 months, what are you talking about!" It's like cold becomes very relative, heh. Probably the same thing with heat! If I was in Australia now, I'd probably tell you "You think it got unbearably hot only now??"

My brothers will be here in about an hour and a half. Guess I should consider tidying the house and putting something on other than pajama's.....

OMHG!!!! Ok I just got home from a) small party b) town where we watched fireworks c) a small sidetrip to a bar with a friend who is going to Austria for half a year AND I CAN'T TYPE SHIT!
I have seriously edited every single word on this post either due to extra letters or spaces in them. I'm sorry for my drunken ways. But I had a really good time, despite some odd factors.

Jenni, you party animal!!! Yeah, I feel exactly the same way about humid Winters. For me, there is nothing worse than feeling cold and damp - it makes me feel so miserable! In Japan, the Winters are very dry, to the point where I need to put moisterising lotion on my legs and arms to stop me from itching so much, but the days are so beautiful, crisp and clear. In Summer, it's steamingly humid and I couldn't stand it. So, when I'm in Aussie, I prefer Summer over Winter, and vice versa when I'm in Japan. And Sabsy, your sig pic so glowy and lovely Have fun with your bros. Don't take any crap!

oy helsie... afternoon sun is a drag. thank god here at my bedroom i only get morning sun (though it's pretty warm, 10-11 morning sun) and it only hits my balcony, so the bedroom remains fairly fresh through the day. in related now, i've now been officially up for 51 hours. far from matching last year's 72.3 hours record, but i never thought i could endure that again. and by god, was it warm today. i went to a luncheon in a different town and even though we were sitting out in the garden under a lot of trees, i could still feel every single one of the 39.8 degrees (that's about 101ºF) convert into sweaty pores all over my body. last night as i was coming home at 2 in the morning it was still 30 degrees (hum, around 90ºF?) outside. how the heck can it be so warm when there's no sun out? hey Jason, has God returned your calls yet?

Thanks for sig compliments, Hels and Jenni. I had a wonderful time with my brothers. I got so many pictures of the entire visit, and I can't wait to have them developed. Incidently, we all watched the ball drop together on TV, which was fine, but I simply cannot get the vision of Mariah Carey out of my mind. I have never seen that woman fully clothed- ever!

And I used it for basically the same reason - had been to a bar and my coat smelled horribly like smoke. It worked well for removing the fumey smell and I got a small spot off my coat, too. My advice would be make sure to blot, not scrub, with the wipey thingy and be reeeeaaallly careful with the velcro enclosure on the bag if your coat has any fringy parts or anything that could get caught - the velcro snags stuff easily. Good luck!

And my mom called last night and said "so I'll see you tomorrow on Wednesday, then." And I said "No, Mom, tomorrow is Tuesday!" She's really messed up, lol.
