"He also contributed to 375 blogs and was expected to start an online column about the impact of interactive communications on health, when he died. "

Is it wrong to laugh at this? I hope not, rofl
computers in general can be addictive, I knew someone who played counter strike for 50+ hours a week, he was pretty damn good at the game too! I beat him once at CS at a LAN tornemant, he wasnt happy. lol

I beat him once at CS at a LAN tornemant, he wasnt happy. lol The problem is when people don't know where their real life stands. It also may be because their tangible life doesn't give them enough satisfactions. If online life takes a more important part in your ethos (or values ranking), then it may be because it fulfills essential needs that are not fulfilled by their tangible life. Take a look at Maslow's Pyramid of needs: www.arches.uga.edu/~danni/maslow.htmI think that his belonging needs were not fulfilled in his life. When the lowest level of needs (survival) isn't fulfilled, none of the above can. If he found that these needs were fulfilled only online, then he must have felt that he was only welcome there.

GOOD GOOGLY MOOGLY.
That's nuts. I'm suprised that he wasn't brain-dead, or blind before starving first.
