I got this idea while browsing a Thai restaurant's website, choosing my dinner for tonight. I was going to post the site here so you all could gawk at how lucky I am to live in the middle of one of the hippest areas of one of the major urban centers of the Midwest (try getting good Thai food in Lincoln, Nebraska! HA!), but then I thought "Hey! Why not let everyone show us what they've been eating lately!"
So, try and find the website of the restaurant you've eaten at most recently - or the one you like best, or go to most often, or the one you always go to on first dates, or the one you etc. - and let us know where you've been eating out lately! If they have an online menu, you can even post your favorite/most recent choices if you'd like, just so we can all have a little peek inside the tummies of fellow torumers.
In my case, this is a Thai restaurant that opened up rather recently, about five blocks from where I now live. It got excellent reviews all around, and the curries have been raised above the rest of the menu every time I've read about them, hailed as being some of the most fantastic curries you could imagine finding in a land where elephants don't roam the streets from noon to night. And in case you wondered, I am ordering both the Gaeng Kiow Wanh (Sweet Green Curry) and the Pad Thai. Normally I wouldn't be a pig like that, but I was faced with a decision that simply cannot be made - try the lauded green curry, or sample the pad thai (a must-sample for the first time at any new Thai place)? So instead of deciding the impossible, I merely used that time-tested cop-out, "Well, I can always eat it for lunch tomorrow too, so I'm not really overspending..."

Unless I'll do what I've threathened to do, and take the Boy to eat out in one of our "guh, I just paid tenfold for stuff I could make at home"-places when I'm All Grown Up and Earning!
