My grandma made me really comfy and cool looking woollen socks which fit me perfectly! Also, despite me not keeping in contact with her as often as I should, she somehow read my mind and knew that my favorite color isn't green anymore but rather plum and violet variations! She also got me 2 red candles which are long and swirly. Oh and chocolate ;D I've been chockied out during this Christmas! From my mom I got some stamps as I had requested them. She got some cool ones for me which have embossed bronze-era pots on them. Neato! So watch out pen pals, I'm again ready to write! From K's mom's odd package (full of stuff, none were labelled or addressed to anyone so I could kinda pick out whatever I wanted, heh) I got me two really neat shirts and an odd piece of jewellery (silvery necklace with a LLAMA pendant!!), all of which she had bought in China. That's it. On our way out of the house mom also gave us some blue cheese and brie to take with us. Yum. Go on, what did you get?  |

A telescope is the coolest present ever. I look at them whenever I go to the Australian Geographic shop and dream of gazing through them at my house by the sea ;D  Jenni, I want to see a pic of your socks! Ok, so I got a lovely new handbag which I picked out. It's a green and brown -very choc-mint and I LUFF it. Very me. I also got a photo album which I've been in desperate need of and now holds all of my Japan photos. I picked out the album, too. Mum gave me a beautiful, dark green hand-made bracelet with a heart, and a lovely glass picture frame set. Jodi gave me a gorgeous Japanese-style tea leaf holder, a calendar and one of the Creature Comforts DVDs. I have been in stitches with this series ever since I caught a show early last year. Trevor, Ben - do you know the show I'm talking about? On the ABC every Thursday night. Same people who make Wallace And Gromit  I bought myself a new suitcase and some random things as well. |

my bf's mother offered me extraordinary machine of Fiona apple ^^ (it's an cd+dvd edition and i'm sooooo happy) and she also gave me a pull over.
I had some perfume to my bf's sister .
When i saw my mother the next day she gave me some money, and my grandma gave me some cookies.

Ooooh, a telescope, Mary! (Haha, I almost wrote stetoscope) We were just yesterday watching Stephen Hawking's Universe and I said I will definitely get myself a telescope one day because I'm a space nut ;D That's an awesome present!
Helen, I'll have to ask someone to take pics of my socks, then. Hopefully soonish!

hey helen, i also got a photo album, and i was happy with it already, but my parents encouraged me to open it... and my mum had put in random photos from my childhood leading up to the present. it was such a nice gift. i got a couple of books, shower gel and 250 € which i already spent on dvd's, cd's and a lot of alcohol on new year's eve. haha. |

Aims, your list sounds a lot like mine  I did get an electric razor, though, so I guess that's cool. And a new CD player, but my old one wasn't broken yet... I suppose it was gonna go soon though, so that's nice. |

lets see... Depeche Mode 86-98 videos DVD Kai Doh Maru (Japanese Anime) DVD from Henry two Teema plates from my sister (lol, we exchanged teema, she gave me yellow plates I gave her grey ones... ) Viivi and Wagner coffee mugs from my brother My mom gave me loads of things but so she does always (she just gets loads of things second hand or on sale that she doesn't really need and then loves giving them as "gifts")... for example tea spoons, pot holders, marmalade, tablemats. we also got a fancy toaster from Henry's sister Guess that's about it. |

I got some CDs (Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, Augustana)
and movies (Amélie, Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Music Man)
as well as some assorted clothing and gift card items.
Oh, and a new memory card for my digital camera! I can have well over 200 pictures now, as opposed to 22 before.
