LOL at the weather comments. Balmy Melbourne? Pouring with rain Melbourne according to the tennis. Feeling veeeeery sorry for Justine right now.
And here it's hopefully going to rain in about 5 minutes so I don't have to keep putting up with this crazy pseudo-tropical humid heat we've got going. Canberra is NOT supposed to feel like this!
Thank you for all the kind words - the reference to guns and flowers, the image of rocking chairs (ooh yeah, I like that one!), and the limelight. AND the flashback to You Shook Me All Night Long. My God, I can still remember my reaction when we finally realised what it was!
I know I'm not around here quite so much these days, but that's the nature of life and friendships. I feel many of us have got to the point where we DON'T have to see each other every single day just to know that we ARE friends. Although I confess I get a little bit antsy about it when I haven't 'seen' certain people for a while.
I have (ahem) moonlighted in a couple of other forums more recently (Aims, I swear I'm not stalking you!), mainly because they offered me live downloads and I was weak and addicted... but this is always the place I come back to just to chat. We actually talk less about Tori and more about other things, and I like that. Yes I'm a raving loony who should go on Mastermind or The Einstein Factor with the music of Tori Amos as his specialty topic, but here we can talk about anything and everything.
So, three cheers to all of you for helping make this a great place to come. ;D
