I just wanted to say hello...and sorry I haven't been around but things have been so busy. Our son was born on March 20th. His official name is Lucas, but we've called him Mo, and now Moses, since he was born so we'll be changing it as soon as we can. He is doing so well, and he is a gentle, calm little guy.
Part of the reason we've been so busy is we found out in February that our daughter Tallulah, who will be 5 in July!, has a tumor in the back of her right leg, in her sciatic nerve. The doctors thought at first that she had neurofibromatosis, but she had a biopsy and a test and now they think she doesn't. Fortunately, the tumor is benign which means she will be okay. There is a small chance though that it could become malignant so we have to monitor it.
Anyway, I wanted to explain why I've disappeared! I don't really have a feel for who is here anymore regularly or what's going on but wanted to let those of you who are friends know what's been going on with me.
How are all of you?

p.s. I hope reading the news about Tallulah is not too abrupt for anyone....it is bad news, but she is okay and I don't want anyone to worry! She really is okay.

Hiya, elizabeth! I always love your little 'popping my head in' posts ♥ Like all the other wonderful souls here, I'll be sending vibes of health and courage to Tallulah and the family ~~~~~~~ Congratulations on having little Moses! Please give him a little tickle for me As for me, I returned to Japan in the middle of February and have been working pretty solidly since then. I go to two elementary schools 3 times a week to teach English, one kindy, and I have a handful of kids/adult classes at the head office. I love the elementary schools The kids are beautiful. Keep well, petal! xoxoxo

Hi, Elizabeth! I've thought of you often and was wondering when your little one made his grand appearance! Welcome to the world, Mo! I was shocked to read about Tallulah but I'm glad you caught it and that it's benign. It sounds like a crazy busy time for you guys and I hope you are able to get some rest and take good care of yourself! Congratulations on your precious son! As for me, Emma Grace is 6 months old and things are a bit...er, hectic around here. Life is a bit too busy and complicated lately. I've missed you - hope to read more "popping in" updates soon. Love, Kier

Hey Elizabeth! Congrats on your new little boy ;D
And what a relief that Tallulah will be ok. My cousin had a tumour in his leg recently, and his was also nothing serious. Phew!

Thanks everyone! I'm so glad you are all still here...Helen...elementary school children are beautiful and so small! I am very happy that you are back in Japan--it seemed like you were really longing to go back for a long time. Kier, I can't believe Emma is so big...I hope your first months of motherhood were good ones (I know they can be very hard ones too) and I hope things are busy and hectic in a good way for you. Aimee, I think tumors are really scary-Tallulah's still scares me everyday even though we have good reason to believe she'll be okay. I'm glad your cousin is okay too. Matt, it's so good to see your name and hear from you! Thanks especially everyone for all your good vibes and prayers....they really mean so much. Now I hope I can post a little more now.

Elizabeth!!
I am so happy to see a post from you! Congratulations on little Moses!! I'm glad that Tallulah is going to be alright. My thoughts and prayers are with you that she will remain in good health. I can't believe that she will be 5 already!
I am well. Though I swore that I hated it when I first got here, nyc has grown on me pretty quickly. I love it here now and almost can't imagine leaving (though the cost of living would be a good reason to do so). I also love my new job.
Take care and stop by again soon!!

aww poor Tallulah! I hope it's only benign! I will keep her in my thoughts. Keep us posted on that, please. Congrats for little Moses He must be so so cute! As for me, I am in England as an au pair and I really miss the true summer temperatures there are back home. Only 3 weeks left, though!
