2328. Pie  ROFLMAO!!! I came on here to say I'M thankful for pie. I've eaten so much of it throughout the day, it's not even funny. First it was a layered Heath, vanilla ice cream, pumpkin pie. Then it was plain ol' pumpkin pie. Then blackberry pie. |

I only had pumpkin pie and apple pie ala mode, but I had like three helpings of each. My poor tummy! We bailed out of the traditional family Thanksgiving that we do every year with my extended maternal family because I'm getting over a cold/virusy thing, and I didn't feel up to driving an hour to see a big crowd of people, most of whom I don't even like. So Alex and I went out for a yummy Thanksgiving lunch, then came home and ate lots of the two pies he made, and watched 24. It was the best Thanksgving ever. Except for my mom guilt-tripping me on the phone....But whatever. Seriously though, what IS IT about the holidays that invokes expectations and guilt tripping in family members? Hmmm? But I guess that goes in another thread.  Pie is good, though. Yes. |
