Paulo- I hope your insomnia is better. not really, but i found that if i mix camomile tea with some other herbs, i can actually fall asleep rather rapidly, so i'm gonna be trying that out from now on. if not, sleeping pills will help. thanks for asking, though! mwah! Well, I hope Extraordinary Machine exists in this version of paradise that you found. (hehe... I love bothering you about this.)  haha, thanks, sweetie. of COURSE "machine" is in my shopping basket already (1.08$) and i'm also getting some wainwright stuff. just because of you. i love rufus's "phone's on vibrate". |

(that was a slobbery kiss all over your cheek)  What kinds of herbs, out of curiousity? I've been reading a book about that sort of stuff. Passionflower is actually the best herb for sleep. Chamomile is relaxing, but not actually a hypnotic. I'm struggling with insomnia, too, so I feel your pain.  |

i don't know the name of it in english, in portuguese we call it erva cidreira, it's some sort of grass-y plant that smells real good and you're supposed to boil its leaves and drink the tea. very relaxing. i haven't tried passionflower yet, thanks for the tip!

lol, i didn't have any youtube friends before you either... and you gotta make sure the video you're uploading isn't too big. mine are all made with quicktime, it seems to upload faster than mpegs or wmv files.

The vid I'm trying to upload is smaller than their limit, but it just goes weird for some reason. All I know how to do is shoot a video clip on my camera, and then load it onto the computer... lol oh well. I managed to upload another one to photobucket a week or so ago, but this one is bigger.

I did my first solo concert set! Here's my setlist, it was a very small spot on the bill, but oh well: The Honey Bee Suite (from my new ep) Way Down (tori) Little Amsterdam (tori) No Reply (the beatles) My brother taped some of it, so we'll see if we can get it posted on youtube or soemthing for all y'all. It was fun and I was terribly nervous but once I got behind the piano things felt much better.  xo |
