Thank you all! Man, my birthday was so funny... K. and a friend had planned a surprise thingy, so when I got out of work we biked to the beach where two of our friends were waiting, with blankets and cake and tea and such, singing Happy Birthday. We sat down and looked across the lake: "Hmmm, looks pretty bad on the other side. Like thunder. Ooops, that was a lightning". Well, maybe it stays there. We fired the grill up. 10 minutes go by RAIN THUNDER INSANE WIND and us hiding in the birches, being bitten by ants, hahahaha. K. had left his piece of cake on the blanket and it was all covered in sand. I just said "It's the thought that counts" when we biked home, wet. I went to bed at 8pm because the day was so exhausting. But! Today we are going to have an actual party. K. got me the makings of margarita--he knows what I like  So, thanks again for the nice birthday wishes! |
