Extended PS: Yes, I'm alive. Sorry that I keep disappearing for weeks at a time. What can I say, I'm a restless wanderer of the internet. To be honest that was partly due to being a shameless hunter of American Doll Posse news. Now that it's out, I can kick back and discuss it with my friends here, instead of dealing with the crazies.
Go ahead and scold me. You can't possibly ruin my day, because I've achieved one of my little dreams - I have the Spotlight review for the new album on Amazon!
Speaking of disappearances... have there been any Mary-sightings lately?

I hope you're planning to go to a Sydney show again. Heck, once I know some actual dates, my leave application will be in quicker than you can say "How much would it cost me to travel to all the State capitals I can get to in the space of two weeks?" |

I actually only got my physical copy this morning and am listening to it for the first time right now on my portable CD player. Mr. Bad Man just finished caressing my ears. But I'd already listened to the whole thing on myspace after my normally reliable local music shop stuffed up my preorder. If you want to know what I think of it, just go to Amazon and check out one of the spotlight reviews! At least, if they haven't bumped me off yet. But, yeah, I'm already thinking this is one of her most brilliant works. |

did you guys see Tori performing Big Wheel at Letterman this week? here's a link for ya... www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcusYdeQqQI now, is it just me or is Tori's face looking like she's had some work done? i mean, it might be just me, but if you watch this performance and then the video of her with the school kids i posted, it just looks like her face is "stuck" somehow, like she'd had botched plastic surgery or a stroke. it looks like she's had a hell of a lot of botox inserted into her cheeks to say the least. |

I just got the album today. Isn't that crazy? lol I had to drive an hour to find a store that had it.
I have the type of exam that all women hate tomorrow, as well as an interview with my new employers to be. I'm glad I'll have the album to cheer me up. I'm really anxious.
