Oh well, at least I don't have to cook tonight - which is good because I have to bake cupcakes today.
And I don't have to cook tomorrow either because we're going out for dinner for mothers day. Although we're going to a thai restaurant which means by Sunday night I'll have had some sort of curry for dinner FOUR nights in a row. I'm so not gonna feel like it tomorrow but bleh...

^ lol @ Paulo's mum.
I didn't really get my mum anything.. just a card.. we never usually do though - Megan and I just cook her dinner. Oh, I rented us a couple of dvds and the 3 of us just lazed around on the couch for a few hours. And then was SO not in the mood to go out for dinner.. but it was ok.

I just gave a card for my mother but dad bought her flower (as usual, and I helped to pick one that's pretty) and my little sister gave her cute heart shaped chocolates. That's what we usually do, dad buys flowers and we children give cards and sometimes chocolate. |

yea no, my mother's not very big on the whole sweetness of mother's day. basically i gave her gift on friday (it arrived 2 days early and it's difficult to hide a 3-feet tall potted plant) and on sunday she wasn't even home, she went out to have lunch with friends.

Heh, I will pass upper secondary school and get student's cap etc... xD I didn't think that I wouldn't pass the marticulation exams (and I had passed all the courses), so I was sure I will pass but of course it's nice to know for sure that I passed the final exams.  Oh, and there had been school art exhibition thingy and my work was there... There was an article of the exhibition in the local newspaper and there was a picture of my work. ^^ It was the biggest pic of the article, yay!!! |

godamn. I just found out today that my two best friends split up, shit 23rd birthday present. they've always been there for me now I wish I could be there for them but they just act like its nothing. I suspect thats bullshit and they just dont want me to worry about it. this sucks.

Maybe part of it was they just wanted to spare you the drama on your birthday, but also they're not ready to talk about it yet anyway? They know you're there for them - in some situations all you can do is remind your friends about that.

meanwhile, i'm on a slow march towards death. my life is so boring right now, i've got 3 internship projects, a final paper, my job and studying for exams going on right now. i seriously cannot wait for June to be over so i can spend a month relaxing.

I can't do anything without pain shooting from my back to, well, every part of my body. I refuse to take narcotic pain meds, so I'm stuck with muscle relaxers which don't seem to help at all. This is a fucking nightmare.

oh i had that once. i bent down to pick up a watter bottle from the floor and when i was getting back up something jammed in my back, like, my sciatic spasmed and i was in pain for about 2 months before i could do anything properly.
