you can have mine if you want.. I've been kinda sick this week, so after having Tuesday off and being sent home by my boss this morning, my work is piling up in the most nightmarish way.

Last night I was in downtown Minneapolis for an AA meeting. When I was walking to the bus stop after it was done, I was talking to my mom on my cell. I was a block away from the bus stop when I saw the two buses I could have taken pull away. I was like, "Damn it, I missed my bus!" My mom asked, "Where ARE you?" I told her I was downtown. She told me that she really doesn't like me going all over the place by myself. I said, "Mom, I've never had a problem downtown. It's still daylight out and there are plenty of people around." So I get to the bus stop and this creepy old guy with approximately three teeth, obviously under the influence of something, started staring at me. I walked further away from him and he followed me. I walked the other direction and he followed me. It was really creeping me out because he kept staying behind my field of vision. Anyway, I said to my mom, "This guy is staring at me and following me." She told me to tell her what intersection I was at in case she had to call the cops. He then walked up to me and said, "Give me your phone. I want your fucking phone." I was in the middle of handing it to him when he said, "Let me see if it's even worth it." I have no idea what he meant by that. Then he said, "Turn around and let me look at your nice ass." At that point, I was fuming and just spun and walked away to the bus stop a block down. He didn't follow me. I hopped on the next bus, waiting to see if he would get on when we went to the stop I was at before. He didn't. I was prepared to talk to the bus driver about what happened if he got on the bus.

So. I have my phone. It was scary. Ugh.
