I made a sig for you. In thanks for the song you sent me way back when I was so rude and didn't get back to you. Thank you! Oh, and how is The Golden Age? I haven't seen it, but I wondered if you had and what you thought. (I'll make you a sig if you say it's any good. ;D) I heard it wasn't as good as the 1st. Sometimes those expensive movies end up seeming too lavish! But I hope they're wrong. We had high hopes! Anyway, yeah. Hope you like it.

oh my! Kate Bush, Golden Age and Paulo are like, the 3 things i look forward to the most in life!! and i loved this little surprise, thank you! love the song, love the line you chose, the picture's just amazing, i'm stealin' it if you don't make me an exclusive one! as far as The Golden Age goes, i have yet to see it (doesn't open here til january 11, i'm afraid), but at the Cate Blanchett forum i go to (yea, like that piece of news will surprise anyone, hehe) there seems to be a rather vivid discussion in regards to the cheese factor of the script. just to give you an idea, these two lines were quoted as being part of the film: "Potato. You eat it. Very nourishing" "Tobacco. You breathe its smoke. Very exhilarating" sooooo..... yea, i'm gonna reserve judgment til after i've seen the actual film, obviously, but dear lord, the previews are killing me. lol.

oh and by the way, you can go ahead and make me a Golden Age sig anyway. Cate looks lovely in it (surprise surprise) and even if it isn't very good, it's still a return to my favorite character and i'll always have a special place in my heart for it.

Ha. Ha. Anyone can use that pic, but it's in your honor. The Golden Age one will be all yours, though. I don't know if I can make the sig without seeing the movie. I really must be packing with my free time... we'll see.

as far as The Golden Age goes, i have yet to see it (doesn't open here til january 11, i'm afraid) Oh, well I have plenty of time to see it then! That's a relief! The review that I read graded it a C, but I see that the average grade is a B-, That's definitely promising. The guy in the review even said "Cate Blanchett is never unwatchable".

that is true. it's impressive how she churns out great performances even in crappy films like The Man Who Cried or The Shipping News. man, they were bad. but she ruled!!!
(note: no, i'm no biased, not at all!)

I loved The Shipping News book. I can't imagine it being a bad movie, but I guess it could happen. I heard Helen Mirren does some Elizabeth TV series that's really good, too. (I should look and see if it's on, so I can watch it while I can, working at a place that lets me watch cable TV while I'm cleaning )

O.K, I can't stand it! What did you think of the sigs?
I regret that I may have to rethink everything I said about Cate playing Elizabeth. I thought nothing could top her, but then I saw Helen Mirren play her on the HBO series. I mean, the woman is a freaking genius. I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet.
Oh, and btw, the song was "Anniversary" by Suzanne Vega.
