I think this goes back to the concept of "marrying the Marys". Marrying the "sacred and the profane" as Tori always says. Saying that Heaven and Hell are here are Earth and it's WE who decide where we belong, but to carry both a peachy side and a dark side is okay as long as we know our own boundaries and how far we'll go with them. You can be a total giver and helper and supporter and be as nice as possible to people and then you can turn around and tell someone where they can stick it and be naughty with your partner. It's all about knowing that what you are doing is completely fine and not to buy into the crap about certain things being taboo and/or sins.
