Alanis is turning out to be one of my favorites again. I cannot believe that I sold Former Infatuation Junkie last year! I'm so stupid! It's such a good album, and now I have to rebuy it!
What's your favorite Alanis album?

i thought that she would never be able to top jagged little pill but i REALLY like the new album... it's like she found a way to get inside my head, i love it when albums are like that.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is my favourite. I've had 3 different copies of it at different times. It's an amazing album. I got Feast on Scaps for Christmas, but haven't had a chance to listen to it yet.

The Feast on Scraps CD is wonderful! I still have not had a chance to watch the DVD, but the CD alone is worth the money if you ask me. I love it!

I think her unplugged album is the best. It really shows a different side to alot of her songs.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie!
...is alanis's all time best of the best of the best! I love this album so much, I don't even think there are words to explain how amazing it really is. Every song on it is so powerful yet so delicate, so entrancing and so personal. The way she writes and articulates what she's feeling.. it's just unparallel.
I got Feast On Scraps for christmas as well, and I absolutely love it. It's probably my second-favorite alanis album, and it has some of her best songs ever. "Bent For You" and "Offer" are my favorites on the album, but I love every song really. And the DVD IS HILARIOUS!!!!! I can't get enough of it. The BEST part of the entire thing is:
"It takes a long time to make a lass pretty over here. You need alot of work over here. You never know when a camera's gonna be pointed toward'ya. You have to raise the bar on your own beauty sometimes. And if you're not gonna do it, WHO'S GONNA DO IT? That's what me mother always said. If you're not going to suffer for your beauty, WHO WILL? ... Because they beauty is something that needs a little work at it don't ya think? I mean, we're not just born with it like all those NEW AGE books are trying to tell you these days! BEWARE of those NEW AGE books that try to tell you that's your BORN beautiful. It's crap. You're born an ugly whore."
She is so hilarious with that funny accent and when she's like "we are not just our bodies.. we are our spirits.. and we our our MINDS..."
If you don't know what i'm taking about, get the DVD and watch the clips after "Purgatorying 2." NOW! You'll be rolling on the floor in laughter.
