I burned her Faith and Courage CD, I thought it sucked. I remember Nothing Compares 2 U, it's pretty good. Not a big fan though.

Well, I think we have a Sinead Cd here at home, I will listen to it later and then make a comment about it.
But two days ago Nothing compares 2 u came on the radio while I was driving and I started to cry right away. Just a beautiful song! ;D

i love sinéad o'connor! you should definitely get her "i do not want what i haven't got" album from 1990 which includes "nothing compares 2 u", but does have some more great songs. she is sooo much more than what "nothing..." suggests. try "i am stretched on your grave" or "three babies". she's amazing.

i like sinead a lot. she is one of my favorite female artists. i love hers clear and strong voice. my favorite album from her is "universal mother". it's also the first album i have from her. my favorite tracks from "universal mother" are "fire on babylon", "john i love you", "All Apologies" (great Kurt Cobain cover!), "famine", " thank you for hearing me", "red football", "scorn not his simplicity"... i guess i like all tracks on this album

Well I haven't heard a hell of a lot of her music either (apart from the well-known songs, of course) but I think she has a beautiful voice. (and I know this has nothing to do with her musical ability but I think she looked great when she was bald! Really pulled it off well!!)
That cover of "All Apologies" sounds interesting... might look that up at some stage (and hopefuly a couple of her original ones of course).
