If anyone here cares, you can take a listen to the whole Seal IV at VH1.com right now before the album is even released (it comes out here in the U.S. on Sept 9). Go HERE to hear all the songs in full. (click on 'Start Listening' and they will all play in order, via media player.) I've been listening all morning.... Good stuff, if you like his kind of music. He's got some fun bluesy tunes and beautiful piano, too....and his voice sounds as good as ever. There are also 3 new videos you can watch there. I'll be getting this album, I think.  There's one song, "Where There's Gold", that reminds me of either an Elvis Costello song or a Sting or Police song (or both), but I can't put my finger on which one(s) and it's driving me crazy.... But I love the song! Just wanted to share. ;D |

Why are so many good artists coming out with new music all at once? (Dave Matthews, Beth Orton, Sarah McLachlan, APC...) I'm never going to be able to afford all of these!

I know Mandy, it's overwhelming!!! So much good music at once!!! Yayyyyy Ok, I have the new Seal....have had it about 4 hours now and listened to it 3x. I LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!! Really, there is not a poor song on the whole cd...I'm in love with it....Especially "Waiting for You" and "Love's Divine"....of course, I already knew I loved those songs when I became addicted to it last week while listening to it over and over and over at the vh1 site, but putting the album on my stereo sound system is EVEN BETTER!!!!!!    ps- I'm checking out Dave Matthews tomorrow....I love my Dave! |

The other night my Dad was listening to one of his Seal cds and I mentioned to him what you said about being able to listen to the new songs on the net, and he was like "THERES A NEW ALBUM?!?!!! OMG!!" hahahahahaha...

Aims, that's great....I'm sure he'll love this new album. Sean was saying, "you gotta give me props, I'M THE ONE who got you into Seal all those years ago" (when we were dating). LOL, he's right, of course.....We only have his first album and now this latest one. Also, I don't think that link to vh1 works anymore...it still shows Seal, but the option to hear all the songs full-length is no longer there. Just go buy the album, people! |
