anyone here like Charlotte Martin?

I'm totally a big fan of Charlotte Martin. Last month she released "In Parentheses" on RCA and it's avaiilable at major record stores and before that she had 2 independent albums "one girl army" & "test drive." One Girl Army is now out of print, and "test drive" is available through CD baby.com. www.cdbaby.com/cd/charlotte

So anyway, you already know that I love her!!

I got my IN PARENTHESES cd today!!!! I'm listening to it now. "Your Armor" is still my favorite, but I also love Monster.

Mandy, you should get both her EP's.... "Test Drive Songs" on its way to me in the mail, but I have downloaded a song from it at her site. You can go to that cdbaby site Melody posted and hear some songs from Test Drive. It's wonderful.

I've also been posting over at Happy Melody's site. It's a slower-paced board than this one, but very nice. Check it out! (it's in her sig). If you like any classical music there's a great forum for that there, too.

Melody, I'm unable to find "One Girl Army" anywhere!! *has a fit* Do you know where I can still find it for sale? Everything says 'out of print'. I'll go ask at your site later in the CM forum, too..

she has a beautiful voice. i downloaded some of her songs off her site yesterday, and i can't stop listening!
hopefully i can get ger new cd soon.

You are such a doll....I would LOVE a copy of OGA! I'll pm you later (got yours, too, thanks!) and maybe I can trade something (another artist's cd) with you to make a fair swap.

My hubby will be into opening arguments on a big case next Wednesday (meaning he cannot drive out to LA in the middle of the week) so I'll probably end up taking one of my sisters with me to see Charlotte....too bad you're so far away and your class schedule doesn't permit you to go...it would be so fun to meet!

I'm bumping this thread up because Charlotte has a new full-length album coming out this year...

It's going to be called "On Your Shore" and we are still awaiting official release date info, but the rumor is that it's coming out this summer (May or June, we hope).

Anyway, I know there are some of you here who've come to know and love her music, too, so I thought I'd share.
