Thanks to an internet buddy of mine, I was able to download the entire album this morning. I burned it onto a CD and listened to it in my car (my favourite place to listen to new music).
I've only had time to listen to it once...but so far, I'm really diggin' it. I'm not sure I'm going to love it as much as Mer de Noms, but it's kind of too early to say for sure.
Who is planning on buying it on Tuesday?

I want to get it on Tuesday!!!! Eeeee, I'm so excited!! I probably won't be able to get it until next weekend since I have a string of away games from Tuesday to Thursday  Which songs are you favorite so far?? |

Whatta... James Iha plays with them now?? Where have I been - I didn't know. I haven't listened to this band either. When I had still telly they played Judith all the time on MTV. Maybe it had the same affect on me as overplaying in the radio. Maybe I should check them out then, with James and all...  |

*gasp* Uh... YEAH!! hehehe... Do check them out, you won't be sorry (don't worry too much about not knowing James Iha was with them - there were all sorts of lineup changes before this album... first I was all bummed coz Paz left, then was all "ooh, interesting" when Twiggy joined, and then was all "!!!!  " when Danny Lohner supposedly joined.. and then all "  " when he quit (if he was even really going to be in there to being with?!) and then was like "oh cool  " when I heard about James... Ok, was that confusing enough for you?) |

I haven't really kept up too much with who is in or out of the band besides Maynard James Keenan...he's the only one that truly matters to me.
Without him, APC would be NOTHING.

Hopefully this new one will kick ass! I really wanted to wait till I'd listened to the entire CD before I posted my thoughts... But I'm only on track 4 and I'm totally in love with this album already!!!! And I've heard Weak & Powerless a bunch of times since I downloaded it.. so that makes only three tracks listened to that I hadn't heard yet. So basically, I think yes... if you love Mer De Noms and just love Maynard's voice in general (which I know you do, seeing as you're a Tool fan and all) then I think you'll really like this album, if not love it. *grins her face off* |
