Ok so you know how Johnny Cash did that cover of "Hurt"...
Well, did anyone know about his cover of Soundgarden's "Rusty Cage"?
Or am I the last person ever to find out? hehe..

I heard it on the radio this morning!
It was perhaps one of the most bizarre things I've heard in a while...
But, I thought it was an interesting effort nonetheless.

Whatever I happen to think of the covers of these songs, I gotta give him credit... not often you hear an older artist cover the songs of someone younger than them!

I've been downloading some of his songs. During this weekend, I found an interesting version of "Personal Jesus" by Depeche Mode.

OMG! I just went to his official website, and there's a news item saying that he died on the 12th!! I had no idea!

I loved that duet he did on the U2 Zooropa album...

Im so happy that you guys put Johnny on here. I think his cover of Hurt was incredibly moving. Im excited to check out the depeche mode cover. What a wonderful artist he was-- so genuine and so original.
