I heard "Where the Streets Have No Name" on the radio at work today. There are so many great U2 songs. And they all take me back to different moments in my life. I saw them on the Elevation tour, everyone should see them live, it is a very emotional experience. With or Without You - Takes me back to quite a few different memories. One - "I can't be holding on to what you got, when all you got is hurt..." Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses - I get all excited everytime I hear this one! One of THE best songs ever. and the list goes on and on and on....  |

One of THE best songs ever. and the list goes on and on and on.... ....AND ON AND ON! Yep, I/we love U2. Saw them on the Zoo tour....INCREDIBLE! I have every album of theirs....I listen to Achtung Baby, Pop, and the Joshua Tree the most....but lately The Unforgettable Fire has been in my player a lot, too. When Hels was new here we immediately bonded over U2's "If God Will Send His Angels", which is one of my most favorite songs ever. Other faves: Dancing Barefoot New Year's Day Wire One the Sweetest Thing Please All I Want is You Wire Do You Feel Loved? Red Hill Mining Town ..and of course The Unforgettable Fire I absolutely get chills at this part: " and if the mountains should crumble or disappear into the sea...not a tear, no, not I...

" Oh gosh, how I love that song! One of Sean's fraternity brothers in college was THE HUGEST U2 fan you can imagine.....I always think of him when I hear that song b/c one time I was driving him somewhere & he was playing drums on my dashboard, lol to that song! |

"if god will send his angels " is one of my absolute favorite songs by U2 its absolutely wonderful, my other favprite is with or without you

One Tree Hill!! Hehehehe.... I love that song. Our hill is just "Hill" now that the tree is gone - it was attacked by crazy axe-weilding freaks so often that it was becoming dangerous and was about to completely fall over, so they had to cut it down.  And nobody proably has a clue what I'm talking about because I heard that song wasn't really that well-known in other parts of the world. |

Oh God, I ADORE U2! I bought the 'best of' DVD and I got to see the video for IGWSHA. It was freakin' brilliant and even more so with the director's commentary and then watching it again!!! There was a special on telly the other day about male singers, from way back when, up until now. Bono was interviewed and he said he's very much a 'vowel singer, which is a bit of a problem since most words have consonants too!' it was a crack up, but also reet interesting. Bless  Hels xoxo |

Who's gonna droooown in your blue seaaaaas? LOL, big, big, HUGE U2 fan over here. Every song is art in it's purest form, and best of all, their music always brings back good memories from childhood I forgot that I had.
