Has anyone seen this? I think it's a great video...and...I just have to say that I think Dave looks ultra-sexy with all that facial hair! *rowr* Anyone agree??

YESSSSS! Like I said, I love my Dave. Buuuut, I still prefer his sweet little clean-shaven baby face. I just do. But it's a cool video!!

That video reminds me of the Scarlet's Walk DVD in the beginning, but I love the song and the video!

I don't like Dave Matthews. Don't hit me! Don't worry... I like some of his/their stuff when listened to separately, but put on the whole album and voila! which song was this again? sounds like that other one... I like his jumping eyebrows though! Anyone who can do that "lifting one eyebrow while the other stays still" is a funky person! (therefore, I am not). \ Facial hair is a turn-off for me - except on Viggo Mortensen - so I better not see the video then.

I don't like Dave Matthews. Don't hit me! Bluey, for real? OMG. One of the things I love about them (speaking of the DMB, since I don't have the new 'just dave' yet) is their ability to really go into different directions with many of their songs. They are not cookie-cutter songs....much in the same way that Tori doesn't do cookie-cutter music....think of how Past the Mission and Space Dog and Yes Anastasia sort of wander off into different worlds as the song goes on, and yet they still each make up one fabulous whole, with impressive (if not mysterious, at times) lyrics to boot. DMB's music is like that to me. My favorite song, and a perfect example of this, is thier "#41". It takes you for a ride and has one of the most awesome 'jam sessions' of drums, sax, violins and flutes that fade in and out....to me, it's divine. But I can surely appreciate not 'getting' the same pleasure or appreciation from an artist as other people do. Case in point: every Bjork song I've heard sounds the same, and makes me want to turn it off. Now excuse me while I go put on #41... Come and see... I swear by now I'm playing time against my troubles.... I'm coming sloooooow, but speeeeeeeding...

I remember liking the song Rapunzel a lot. A hot song that was.
Hey wait a minute! I just remembered! I had this friend like 4 years ago (exchange student) who, when he left the country, left me a video of Dave Mathews live somewhere and Rapunzel was there. Ooh. Maybe I'll dig that tape up just to have a go at "getting" Dave.

For the reals yo! It's funny, because one thing I really don't like about them is I think a lot of their songs do sound the same, especially recently.

I love Dave's solo album.
Just had to say so. ♥
favorites: So Damn Lucky Gravedigger (esp. the acoustic extra)
....and I've yet to listen to the bonus cd with the live tracks yet.
So much good music, so little time.
