I love Liz Phair... I have for a long time now, way before this record. It's funny though, that she's being billed as the "hot new thing" when her "Exile In Guyville" CD got awesome reviews from all over the place, and that was like a friggin decade ago or somethin'.
Does it ever bother you that TV and radio will call something new, and the grammy's will give someone "best new artist" when they've been around for fifteen years, just because they had their first commercial success? For me it's like they're saying that before they made it in the bigtime, they weren't really an artist. Which pisses me off.
Anyway, yeah. Liz Phair rules! Anyone who would name a song "HWC" (stands for hot white...) is awesome.
