So, okay, she started out as just another pop singer with a kinda good voice and a pretty face who hit it big on someone else's song, but did anyone bother to pay attention a little further and listen to her second album? "White Lilies Island" is personally one of my favorite 10 albums ever. The entire record is amazing, and when you come to think of it, "Left Of The Middle" was quite good for a debut record. Too cheery, though. The 2nd one is dark, instrospective, sad and depressive, just like me, so I adore it. Apparently her third album is gonna be happy again, blergh. All because she's so happy marrying that anorexic skeleton from Silverchair. Pfff.

Well well, we're certainly gonna have to change that. Try downloading "Sunlight", "Come September" and "Beauty On The Fire" and we'll go from there.

I suspect that a little sweet petal of an Aussie is going to introduce me to her a bit, too... I'll give her a whirl. All I know of her is the stuff the radio plays.

Actually, scratch that. Get only "Sunlight" and then the two non-album tracks "Hide Behind The Sun" and "Identify". One of them was written by Billy Corgan. Actually, scratch that, get all of them! Once you go Nat you can't go back.

Just pitching in to say I've been mightily impressed with the occasional Natalie song. I would say she has stronger career prospects than your average ex-Neighbours star.
All I know about the 2nd album is that "That Day" was one hell of a brave and interesting choice for lead single. It takes guts to put out a song that doesn't have a catchy singalong style to it. Full marks for artistic integrity then.

I really liked her first album. I don't listen to it much these days, but it was one of my favourite CDs when it first came out. I don't have her latest...but I do have 'Identify' on the Stigmata soundtrack...and it is an AMAZING song.
