LOL, that's so funny. but really cool. when i was a teenager i was this huge local band groupie. i became friends with the manager of one of the bands and fell madly infatuated with him. he was 10 years older than me so nothing ever happened (though he did tease me, it was just cruel)... but fast forward to today: he is coming up here for the long weekend and called me and i might me up with him tonight. it's so funny!!! well, i guess it doesn't sound that funny but trust me when i say that it is, lol. it's just that i used to be so into him and he was just a jerk and about 3 years ago tables turned and he was the one calling me all the time and wanting to hang out and i was like "whatever!" lol
oh i love getting the power!!! *cackles in dr. evil style

HA! That's the best! And that's always the way, isn't it? They come crawling back after you're long over it! I've never done the full on groupie thing, but I definitely have a thing for band guys- with the exception of one guy, *everyone* I've dated has been in a band at one point or another. I could form a pretty kickass band with all of my exes, but I think the world might explode or something. Of course the two biggest crushes I've got going right now are band guys... one of them can be found at www.allthingsaloud.com/ They're also pretty good...

YES! it is so the best when the tables turn and you know you have control for once. the 16-year-old girl inside of me so gets off on this. i think it's the only reason i want to see him because we're not really friends and don't have much in common i don't think. oh well... i'll have to give you an update if it does happen! i wasn't exactly a groupie cause i was still a sweet little virgin and they were all older but i followed them around a little. it was fun.

My favourite "local" band (well, from about 60 miles away, local enough for me), is Sorten Muld, I love their music!!! You can listen to some of their songs on their website, I love it so much! Faves are Harald Kongen, Ravnen, Tor af Hafsgaard, Vølven, Ulver and Kirstin...

i really like MARINA V (check out the link in MY signature). She is in Los Angeles. how many of you live in L.A. area? She reminds me a lot of Tori, but she has her own story to tell. As a huge Toriphile, I fell in love with Marina's music too. Please let me know what you think. James
