EXCITING TOOL NEWS!!

Just read this over at toolshed.down.net ....

"Work is underway on Tool's next album, despite the fact that A Perfect Circle will be touring for the next little while. The writing process for this album will be similar to the process for "Lateralus": the band works on music, sends demos to Maynard, he works on vocals, and so on. The singer discusses this in the newest issue of Kerrang magazine, saying "we're working on a new Tool record now. I'm multi-tasking. I can't walk and chew gum but I can change hats." It was four and a half years between "Ænima" and "Lateralus", it has so far been (only) almost three since the spirally record was released. So really, they are almost ahead of schedule."

Now, I know that it's still gonna be a very long time till the album is finished and released, but at least they've started work on it! And that is very exciting... hehehe.

Omg, it really does doesn't it?
I remember racing in there straight after work on the day that it was released (after having called up the music store regularly over the week before it to make sure they'd have it on time lol) and then forcing my Dad to listen to it while I made dinner that night coz I had to listen to it as soon as I got home.

Hehehe that sort of excitement is such fun.

I had to wait a whole week to get it because it came out during hell week that year (the week right before opening night of the school musical where we're in school 16 hours straight). Luckily, I didn't have time enough to think of what I was missing...

I almost orgasmed when I bought it and saw the kickass packaging, though.
