I was just looking at Australia lyrics on the net and came across a page that has lyrics for "track 11." Here they are:

My CD ends at track 10 (Disco). Are there some copies of Australia with an 11th track? Does anybody know anything about this?

Oh, I know the answer!   I was shopping around for the Madrigals EP (which is on my wishlist for the version of 'Ghost', alone) and read something about this... It's basically a 'hidden track' on the version of Australia that was released on Howies' own indie label, " Daze" (or possibly it was 'Dazed'?) in 2000, and is NOT on the version that most of us have, which is on the Epic label, released in 2002. The song is NOT listed on the indie version disc, you have to listen to it to find it at after Disco. I totally wish I would have known this before I bought my Epic Australia cd! Don't know that I would have found the indie version, but would've have liked the opportunity to try for an extra track! Anyway, mystery solved! You probably can find the indie version in rare record shops somewhere. I've never heard the little mystery song myself. |

I thought I'd google a bit to see if I could find whatever site it was I was reading when I was doing my Madrigals-shopping awhile back....I couldn't remember which site it was... Well, it's really not that impressive. Even though I had played the CD numerous times, I just thought it was the tail end of the last song. He barely mumbles through it all. While I think of it, I should just rip it to MP3 and email it to you. (just another thing on that ever-growing to-do list...  ) |
