I can think of a couple members here who fit the profile of classic Sade fans, just wanna know if my instincts are right? I myself have been a fan for over a decade now (LOL, sounds like an AA meeting introduction) and even though she's very reclusive and takes a long time between her albums, her music is so timeless than it's impossible to mind that0 she can take up to 8 years to release an album. my favorite songs are 'Is It a Crime?', 'Clean Heart', 'By Your Side', 'Like a Tatoo', 'Every Word', and, of course, 'Smooth Operator', among many others. who else digs her here? Talk amongst yourselves.

I'm terribly flattered that you think I look anything like her. I really like this pic of her, too. I'll admit that THIS pic, for a brief flicker when it first came up, looked familiar around the eyes and nose... not sure what it is.. but I *can* see a hint of resemblance in parts, yes. It's striking me looking at it now that our necks are similar, too... which isn't saying much as far as distinguishing attributes go, but there ya go. For a brief time I was completely obsessed with the song "By Your Side", though... is that good?! okay, you do realize that the only reason why i'm letting you get away with it is cause you're the closest i'm ever gonna get to having a conversation with Sade, don't you? shame on you, Mary!!!! look, go to e-bay right now and by her best of. what better way to start? or, if you want a best of that includes 'By Your Side', buy her live album. all the hits from the 80s plus tracks off her last record, all there in one place. i personally think the best of is better. hell, buy her entire discography, now! and yes, you do look like her, no matter what you say. |

Immigrant. she does, doesn't she? she's all beautiful. she did an artistic nude photo... let's just say her body looks a LOT better than one would expect from someone who doesn't rely on sex appeal to sell records. |

My Dad (as usual in some of these threads lol) is a big fan.. he has that DVD too. It's pretty cool.
And... shes 45?! Shit man! I haven't seen any recent pics or anything, but I assume she still looks great..
