I saw them last night! THey rocked my socks soooo much!
Here's my cool review (posted in my journal too):
I miss going to rock shows. I hurt EVERYWHERE, BUT IT WAS SOOOO FUCKING AWSOME!!!!!!!
We have a bunch of lovely pictures too, just have to wait for freak-0-zoid to email them to me. hehehehehhehehehehhe
So, it was all totally last minute, actually I was joking with Liv. I was like 'oh do you want to go see Godsmack tonight?', and she was like 'yeah'. I couldn't believe it, I thought that was awsome!!!! So, I went and bought the tickets. And 3 hours later we were on our way!
We got there and I didn't know that spiked bracelets were illegal, so we got sent back to our car. Went back (past all the tour buses of course ;o) ), and we finally get inside. And we missed Dropbox, which was fine, I was there to Ill Nino and GODSMACK anyway, no biggie. So we buy 2 CDs, and continue to to the stage (can I just say that there were alot of rude f*cking people there, I really wanted to punch a few of them. Liv almost did, lol).
We get almost to front, and this guy and his girlfriend (who were really drunk btw), stopped us, and he was saying how he was related to this person and that person, and Liv and I turn around and go "You're not related to us". And he just says "then we can f*ck, cause we're not related.'. I about pissed my pants. His girlfriend was laughing so f*cking hard, omg, it was fucking histarical. So, then Ill Nino comes out, and THEY F*CKING ROCK LIVE!!! And we start getting shoved (hardcore shoving here people, lol), so we decided to go through the pit and what f*cking happens? someone takes the 2 CDs out of my hand, we were so p*ssed... So, then I was like 'o.k. I can't breathe' which sucks, cause I'm clausterphobic, so it takes me a little while to get used to being at a rock show (even though, like I said: I LOVE ROCK SHOWS), but yeah, we were getting shoved so hard, I thought I actually hurt the person in front of me (I didn't which is good, I don't want to hurt anyone). So, yeah, the guard takes me then Liv out of the pit (can I just say that when you're up there, seeing everything, it is just completely awsome!).
So then we go and get a bottle of water, and make our way through the crowd again. And we get to the place we had been before. Yeah well this f*cking bitch of a woman starts with Liv, telling us she doesn't know what we're talking about, we don't know anyone else there and she's not moving, and blah blah blah. So Liv calls her bitch, and her friend was like 'did you just call her a bitch?', and Liv's like "yeah, that's right, You're a f*cking bitch. I just wanted to know if you saw our friends, but no you have to pretend that we're trying to get in front of you...' yeah went off on her. So, then this f*cking guy starts pushing us, and we're like WTF you know? He's all like 'oh don't you want to be near the stage?', and we were like 'yeah, but this is fine cause we have a camera', so they keep shoving us, and holy sh*t man, Liv fucking rip them a new a**hole, and like everyone just stopped. She also ripped the b*tch a new one cause she was like 'stop pushing me (whine whine whine)'.HELLO! Shoving happens at rock shows!
Uh, I'm NEVER going to Mass (Springfield) for a concert again. I'll stay here in New York, thank you very much. No offense to most Mass people, I must say there were very few of you that were cool, but for the most part there were total a**holes. I guess that's to be expected though, it is a rock show, which comes with a**holes apparently.
Anywho, Godsmack totally rocked! They played 3 of my most favorite songs: Moon Baby, Voodoo, and Serenity. They also played other songs: Keep away, I stand alone, Awake, Bad Magick, Re-Align, Straight Out of Line, and some other ones I can't remember right now, lol. Sully & Shannon did this drum solo, it was f*cking awsome, they kept throwing their drum sticks in the air and catching them, it ROCKED SO MUCH!
SO, I'm happy now, I have seen Godsmack live, and I survived it! LOL
Like I said, as soon as I have the pictures I will post them
