Got your PM... this is fitting news for the day when I'm in the worst pain I've been in my entire life. FUCK TODAY. (thanks for letting me know, though... it's not your fault) How could they make the best album of their career, the one that made me come to fully and truly appreciate them, and now this?

You're right. I should have waited to spring this on you AFTER your toothache went away....

My toothache seems to have dissipated for now, Carly, so that's ok I didn't know they prescribed penicillin for that sort of thing, but it's working. Knock on wood. I did read about TMJ while trying to diagnose myself, though, and thought of you... ♥ I don't know how you do it. Yeah. I wish I'd seen them live back in January now............ (shaddup Jason..) Well they do have a lot of concerts on torrents, if you want help finding one let me know. But I doubt they're giving up forever, not after they just made the best album of their career, you don't quit after something so revolutionary. I'm sure you'll get your chance again.

Glad your tooth is feeling better! I wish they had given a better explanation for their "hiatus." I think I'm going to buy The Woods today after I leave this damn library.

Nah I'm too lazy for torrents. But that's ok.. I'm just bummed I didn't see them live - not really interested in just hearing them live.

Thanks, Carly. You know how I am about music - you buying The Woods is better than any pain reliever they could give me. And it'll make you proud to know that What's Yours Is Mine is kicking ass in The Woods survivor on the Sleater-Kinney forum I go to (an idea I brought over from here, may I add!).
And actually, I think I would've pegged you as a Modern Girl, or a Night Lighter.

It really IS my favorite, I swear!) I love Night Light and Modern Girl is just a blob of quirky fun.

Oh no, you were right, and the only reason I forgive myself for this mistake is that it's my least favorite song off the CD (though that's like calling it my least favorite bite of a perfectly ripe strawberry). I was going to say "You have no idea how happy I am to have you liking this album," but you gave me that Patty collection, so I'm betting you know exactly how I feel
