Is Howie Day definitely going to be opening for Tori when she returns to the US?
I would really like to see/hear him again and I was wondering if he was staying for the whole tour.

I don't know, but I was wondering the same thing...
I didn't get to see her on the first leg of the U.S. tour, so therefore, I didn't get to see Howie either. I love his CD and have downloaded a ton of live MP3s and I would really like to see him too!!

He's even better in concert because he does lots of improv and mixing. He not only set the tone perfectly for Tori to come out, but was an amazing performer himself. I really hope that he'll still be on tour with her.

I need to download some Howie songs. I havn't ever seen anyone do what he did! With the petals and what not. Thats so new. I love new things.

He'd start off with playing/singing something that sounded good itself... and by the middle of the song it sounded like it was all mixed in a studio with several artists contributing!! As far as the tour, I've done as much research as I could to find out if Howie will still be on the tour and nothing seems to indicate otherwise. So, I guess we'll be able to see him on the 2nd US leg  |

Actually...the Dent just confirmed a few days ago that Howie will not continue with Tori on the second leg of the U.S. Tour. During the first portion of it, Jeffrey Gaines will be opening her shows and then during the second portion, Rhett Miller will be the opening act. No Howie.  |

Thanx for the info, though, Mandy! I would have been much more bummed out if I got to the show (thinking that i'd get to see Howie) and someone other than Howie stepped onstage!

No problem. I am slightly bummed, but I've never been to eager to see Tori's opening acts, so it's not really that big of a deal to me. I do hope I get to see Howie some day though. |
