Okay, for those of you wondering...
Meet & Greets are a wonderful way of meeting Tori and getting autographs, however it can be very stressful because no one ever knows what to expect. They want so much to meet Tori, and get depressed when it doesn't turn out that way.
A few hints to help you along the way. If any of this is not accurate, forgive me. I'm just going with my own experience.
You do NOT need to show up 12 hours in advance to a meet & greet. Don't be an idiot. Get some sleep.
Her bus is brown/tan with waves on it. She usually gets there around 3:00 - 4:00pm. If you show up at 3, believe me, you probably won't miss anything, except having to stand around for a few hours.
If the crowd will not cooperate (i.e. don't do what Steve tells you to do) they will not hold the meet & greet. This has only happened about two or three times since Tori's been touring.
They set up the barricades. Try to be in front. Tori usually only gets to chat with the lucky dogs in the front. She will not come around the sides and the back. For safety reasons, she stays up front only. If you're lucky, Steve and Joel will lift her up to see those in the back.
People are really good about sending things up to be signed. Be patient. Don't be rude. We know this means so much, but please, try to conduct yourself in an orderly manner. There's nothing worse than someone behind you pulling at you to send something up. Be courteous.
Tori will stay about 10 - 20 minutes, depending on the weather, her mood, how much time they have for sound check, etc.
Tori accepts gifts. If you're not fortunate enough to personally hand it to her, give it to Steve. He'll pass it on to her.
Once you're in your place and the barricades are up, don't expect to 'take turns' to be up front. Security will not allow you to switch due to safety reasons. Could you imagine the chaos?
I hope this helps a bit. Feel free to post questions... I'd love to post a Meet & Greet FAQ thread.
smooches! Jen xoxo

a meet and greet F.A.Q. is a wonderful thing to have jenn, you should add that to your tori web site *wink wink*
I think you about summed it up.
But may I add a couple of things people should follow as procedures to this meet and greet?
*ahem*
#1 PLEASE do not bring drinks into the crowd or hold candy or food. It's highly irritateing when someone is holding a soda or a burrito and it ends up being smushed on the person next to you. It only makes that person get angry cause now they smell like a 99 cent taco bell burrito. You get the point.
#2 DON'T WEAR WINGS!!!!! As everyone knows Tori is only 5'2. Not everyone can see her when she goes by. Those of us who are lucky ones get to see her through a small crack of crowded fans so please don't wear wings, they smack you in the face, they get glitter on you, they are ugly little things and they make it hard to glimpse our beloved Tori.
#3 Tori has her own writing pen, don't send up your own writing pen to get an autograph. Yes I guess it would be dandy to get Tori to sign your with a glitter gel pen!! But the fact is those who send up pens only get them lost or stolen cause no one knows what to do with them.
#4 Keep an eye on your material you send up to the crowd to get Tori to sign. Always either keep your eye on tori or your material, I suggest be multi talented and do both at the same time. Why? Because other people might want to getthe same thing signed and who knows what you'll get back, you have a chance of getting back someone's beat up copy of whatever you sent up and well, thats just not cool.
#5 Be curteous to others who want an autograph, there is no need to be pushy, if the person next to you is crying from the excitement and all they can think about is getting a Tori autograph but no one is taking their stuff, TALE IT. people are always so kind like jenn said but there can be some meanies in the crowd so you have to watch out.
#6 Don't yell at Tori! Yelling for Tori or making an ass out of yourself to draw her attention will only make Tori uncomfortable and want to leave. She doesn't mind positive feedback as long as it's not a blow horn attempt to draw her to you.
#7 If you are too far to actually talk to Tori but just close enough to see if you can get a hand shake, reach out your hand. It's supriseing! She will for the most part reach out and grab the hand of almost anyone who makes the effort to reach out so do it and shake her hand.
#8 Feel free to ask Tori to play songs for you at the show. She likes the audience suggestions and freely will write the title of that song on her hand to look over at every show.
*whew* okay I'm bent. Deffinately need to stop giving suggestions but jenn is right, we have to make meet and greets comfortable for everyone so if you follow this little suggestion thread everything should go well and dandy. Feel free to spread the joy!
Haullie

Meet & Greets are usually held right outside the venue. Just follow the crowd of EWF.

ok well my question for fear of sounding like a complete dork is how do you find out about the meet and greets and are they at all the or are there specific ones that she does meet and greets at? I would just die to be able to see tori that close

I'm pretty sure she does meet and greets at every show, and I think most of the time they're around the venue she's playing - at least, that's been my experience.

The meet & greets for the last LA shows were cancelled at the last minute.....Lots of people were disappointed, after waiting there. I think it was an issue with security at that particular venue. So sometimes you just don't know!

woohoo! m&g thread (yes, i just noticed. i know, im slow, lol). ok, in order: Jennifer, it was so nice of you to turn this into a thread. it's always nice to know about m&gs ahead of time, that way you have an idea of what to expect. Haullie, You have no idea how much i really wanted to hurt this one girl at my first m&g that did this. it was like my special moment was ripped away from me. phooey! so i would like to add to haullie's #6: you also don't know who is trying to talk to her. it might be someone that's never met her before, so let them talk to her. leonie, as far as i know they do take place in europe. i've seen many m&g pics from europe! honeybee! the m&g in albany was apperently ALMOST cut short due to a bomb threat outside the theatre (right now happy phantom is doing this: ). yup, yup. that's whay all the cops and fire trucks were back there and that (stupid) security guy was telling us that we needed to stay back because they might be 'tearing down the building next door', lol

ooh ooh ooh, another one:
listen to what any of the security guards have to say! they get irritated otherwise. and don't go calling joel constantly while tori is visiting with people. he has a very important job to do, and has alot on his mind. he also needs to keep his eye on our very dear tori. if he doesn't then some crazy might try to hurt her. it's best to wait til she's gotten to your section before you try to grab his attention.
